Introducing Old Timey Books!

I recently launched a new blog! (Yes. I know. Another one.) The Lazy Historian has recently been flooded with posts relating to historical fiction as the genre has kind of taken over my brain since I started writing one of my own.

Back in 2015 when I launched The Lazy Historian, I never intended for it to become a book blog, particularly for works of fiction. Back then I was reading almost all non-fiction history books and focusing on facts and figures and planning a line of non-fiction books of my own. In an attempt to get this blog back to its original focus, back to true-to-life history stuff, I’ve launched a book blog devoted to historical fiction novels. Click on the graphic below to check it out.

You can also follow Old Timey Books on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

I plan to use this blog to share book reviews, articles about the genre, do giveaways, interview authors, cover reveals, and more. For now, novels starring women, POC, and queer characters will be the blog’s main focus.

I’m looking for contributors! If you’d like free historical fiction books and you’d like to review or write for the blog, you can submit your information over here.
